Description

T-Slot Rail custom made for the Open Robotic Platform. Rail and T-Slot Nuts take m3 nuts. Currently spaced 3mm from each end. Allows for connection to one or 4 holes in the plate. Prints vertically, so you may want to add a 2.4mm support in each of the nut slots on the rail and cut it out when your print finished. T-Slot Nut had some issues finding its bottom in the slicer so make sure its flat on your printbed before you start printing. If you need to get clever with your sizing and don't quite know CAD (spoken from experience), you can cheat and split the model into 3 parts in your slicer, (each slotted end and your middle section) and scale the middle piece to your length then reassemble. That way you can print as long as your printer is tall.

I'm gonna update the models soon, but if you wanted to build a frame out of these and have them intersect at 90, you can add 3.5 mm hole 1.3 cm from each end in your slicer. Or you can copy my onshape file. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/9d847485a63c910310537c3a/w/01f9635e21582f1c445ac1a2/e/b48038c182fb105647e24c9a
